How the pharmacy fills your prescription and what to ask before you go home.

When the doctor writes your prescription, it comes straight to the pharmacy. Wait at the pharmacy window and the pharmacist will call your name.

Before you leave, ask how many times a day to take each medicine, whether to take it with food, and what to do if you miss a dose. If you already take other medicines, tell the pharmacist.
